Every nuclear power plant is stopped for checking every 13 months. After the checking, the plant can not be rebooted without acceptance by the governor of the town/city/prefecture where the plant exists.

After the accident of Fukushima, no plants are rebooted after checking...

In the next summer, all plants will have been stopped and not rebooted....maybe. Thus, electricity shortage will be coming...

Winter holidays in Japan

In Japan, we have holidays at the beginning and the end of year for about one week.

Governmental offices will be closed from December 29 to January 3, including JPO, Japan Patent Office.
